Ziam: First Kiss

"Liam?" Zayn called through the flat as he made his way downstairs. "Have you seen my phone?"

He headed into the kitchen, frowning when he discovered he hadn't left it on any of the counters or the table. He looked towards the living room when he realised his younger band mate hadn't answered him. Curiosity and slight worry filled him as he moved into the next room, finding Liam laid out across one of the leather couches, a small black device held between his hands as he tapped away at it.

"Liam! What are you doing on my phone?" The Bradford boy asked moving towards him.

Liam looked up, tucking his hand holding the phone behind his back, his brown eyes shining as he smiled innocently. "Nothing."

He scoffed. "Yeah right, give me it."

"No." Liam replied, backing away into the couch.

"Don't make me have to take it from you." Zayn warned, a smirk tugging at his lips as he tried to keep a serious face.

"You couldn't even if you tried." The younger boy said.

He raised an eyebrow. "Is that a challenge?"

"Yep."

And then he was on top of him. Zayn pounced, his hands quickly going after Liam's in search for his phone. The two lads laughed as they wrestled, rolled and twisted in the narrow space the sofa had to offer. Soon their limbs were tangled, and the other lad began to poke at Liam's sides, causing said boy to wriggle and squirm as he was tickled.

"S-Stop!"

"Not until you give me my phone."

"Never!"

"Liam, give me my phone!"

"N-No!"

"Give me it!"

"Stop tickling me!"

"Then give me my phone, you theif!"

"I'm not a theif!"

"You stole my phone."

"I was borrowing it."

"You stole it."

"Did not."

"Did too."

"Zayn stop pushing me, or we're going to-ah!"

With a thud the two tumbled off the couch and landed in a tangled heap on the floor, the Bradford lad on top of his younger friend.

"Ow." Liam moaned as his body ached, taking most of the hit from the fall.

"You do realise that was your fault." The Bradford lad said as he propped himself up onto his elbows, looking down at Liam.

"No it wasn't." Liam argued, looking up.

It was then that Zayn noticed the appearance of the younger boy. His face was slightly flushed from their fight, his lips parted as he panted staring up at the older boy. His plump lips were somewhat inviting to Zayn as he looked at them, and his breath sweet with the smell of morning coffee and mint. The Bradford lad was mesmerized by how breathtaking the boy beneath him looked at that moment. By how breathtaking his best friend looked.

"Zayn?" he was pulled from his thoughts.

"What?"

"I said, are you okay?" Liam watched the older lad in confusion as he stared at him.

The darker skinned lad slowly nodded, his eyes falling back down to the younger boy's lips. Realising neither of them had made any attempt to move from their awkward position, he slowly leaned down before brushing his lips softly against Liam's. At first their was no movement, just a simple press of the lips before Liam slowly began to kiss back.

The older lad's head spun as he kissed his best friend, his heart beating loudly in his ears and his stomach feeling as if it were to burst and a flurry of butterflies were to fly out of it. But then he pulled back.

Liam's eyes were wide as he looked up to the older boy, silent for a moment. "Why did y-you do that?"

"I.. I don't know." He stumbled over his words, just as confused as Liam. "I'm sorry."

After a few seconds he made a move to get up but pale skinned arms quickly wound their way around his neck, holding him down. "Don't.." Liam mumbled, his eyes slowly sliding shut as he leaned up to press their lips back together.

Zayn was shocked by the other's actions, but soon moved his lips back against Liam's and smiled into the kiss, pressing himself closer to Liam.

And so they just kissed, Zayn's phone completely forgotten.
